Finally found the pickups for my Charvel

I have an '88 Charvel Model 2 that I've had a hell of a time finding a pup I like...I've tried a Screamin' Demon, Custom Custom, BK Rebel Yell, BK Holy Diver, and now I have a JB with an A2 mag...I liked the sound of the Rebel Yell but it was way too bright, everything else just sounds too "vintage-y" for what I want from this guitar...even the JB2 I'm using now isn't quite right. Sounds like the Timmons might be something to try...

I've been more than happy with the Super Distortion in my '87 3dr .

I'm going with a Dimarzio Steve Morse bridge in mine and leaving the Evolution neck. Will do my best to report results once it's received and installed.

i finally decided to keep one of my charvels and im thinking about putting a holy diver bridge or doug aldrich pickup. It has a jb in their now and i dont hate it buy i dont love it. What do you guys think is a better fit?

maybe a nailbomb or c-bomb would be cool in a alder charvel. Have any of you guys had one? i have a rebell yell in my eclipse i think it would be to bright.
