And what an awesome band!

Especially the Blue record! My favorite tune so far is A Horse Called Golgotha and War, Wisdom & Rhyme.

Love the Harmonies!

Felt like doing a cover yesterday, as I just were banging out some hang overs.

There are 2 little suprises during the video.

I have their 3 records, but only listened to Red Album
They do master their style

I recently picked up Yellow & Green. I liked how Yellow Theme and Take My Bones Away roll into each other. The rest took me a few listens to get into.

I think I like it because it's unconventional. I almost don't know what to make of it which keeps me interested.

I really want to know what fuzz pedals they use on Yellow and Green. The tone on Take My Bones Away is awesome.

Baizley's art for Pig Destroyer's Phantom Limb is their best cover.

Last Rig Rundown I saw they used Bad Cat Hot Cat with Fulltone OCD if I remember correctly
Could be really anything in the studio though...

I just did some digging. I had no idea that they were in a bus crash last year. A bad one!

I like Baroness. I can't stand their guitar tone. Drives my crazy sometimes. But I do enjoy their music.

It's not a tone I'd like to replicate for myself, but I think it fits their music very well

Mixed feelings on that. I think getting rid of all that loose fuzz and tightening it up with an Uber or Diezel would sound awesome for their style of playing. But I get that they like to sound retro/vintage.

The singing is very similar to old Fugazi. Not sure if that's on purpose.

Well isn't "Sludge" all about looseness in the first place?

Possibly. I don't know these genres this much. Id rather they call it 'trash that hasn't decomposed yet'
