Has silverburst been adopted by the participation trophy generations?

Always had a soft spot for a Silverburst LP, big Tool and Adam Jones fan. But if those fellas that ya can’t take on a camping trip are playing silverburst guitars, I’ll invest my resources elsewhere.

I think they are trendy in certain types of music, they aren't trendy like offsets though.
