They’re (PMS) probably fine for most people. I am too OCD with tinkering with PU height.Glad you posted that, I was considering the PMS for a Star/banana build I'm doing but I'm gonna stick with a ring. I think it looks better with rings too.
Right on, thanks man...Frets on the net. Look at the brass strap button and jack plates while you’re there.
Aged it with a peroxide/vinegar/salt mixture. You can only age nickel though. Chrome doesn’t work well. The model for a nickel Floyd is FRT-400Do you age your hardware yourself, or buy it that way?

Me too. It plays and sounds so sweet. The yellow is one of my favs of this style guitar I've played.Right on, thanks man...
This black one is killer. But I still want that yellow one.
The neck on the black one is pretty much spot on with the yellow one. Same profile, just not roastedMe too. It plays and sounds so sweet. The yellow is one of my favs of this style guitar I've played.
I’m now starting another in bright red nitro. I’m going do an Ebony board on this one with cream rings and pi’s. I’m going to paint this one thoughNice Scott, I like it best with the pickup rings!
It’s hard to say since this one has a roasted body and standard neck compared to roasted neck and standard body. But is my experience with necks, roasted seem a little brighter. With this one with the roasted body I do feel it resonates moreLooks great. How does the roasted alder sound compared to regular alder? I have noticed that roasted maple necks tend to sound darker than unroasted.
