true....but sometimes you have to throw punches. eg.- "turn the other cheek" has been a term that has been used and abused forever. Plus it has been used to indoctrinate generations of Christians into being passive. It basically means the first one was free....I dare you to do it again. Different times and languages. Much has been lost in translation.
It means don't trade petty insults for petty insults, which is something I"ve struggled with most of my life since I grew up in an area where talking shit was a pastime.

Yeah, message to warvangelicals — Jesus was a pacifist (Although according to the book he will come back with swords coming out of his mouth and shit to kick some serious ass)
Lol, Jesus comes back as a conquering middle eastern warlord. Look out.

Please don’t change ?❤️

It creates more problems than it solves though it became an automatic defense mechanism against aggressive jerks. It can be hard to suppress the desire to rip someone a new one.

I blame Neil Degrasse Tyson
I can’t stand that clown. You can be the most intelligent person in the room without being an arrogant condescending person who has no manners. My pet peeve is being interrupted and spoken over. He just uses his mouth as a steamroller. Joe Rogan looked ready to throat punch him during his podcast. And why does a physicist feel the need to discuss politics, religion and social issues…and pretend to be an expert because he’s a………physicist?

Exactly. It’s the move towards technocracy, or rule by ‘expert’. Never mind the fact that these are the most retarded geniuses ever.

He's a stooge, not a scientist. Calling him a clown is putting it nicely. But Bill Nye the makeup guy is easily as annoying and def gives off more pedo vibes than Neil. Neil has the arrogance down to a science though.

I have been around some pretty smart people…a few actual geniuses or even savants...usually everyone of them is a little off. Socially awkward or lack of emotional maturity or control. One was also a normal guy but kinda cold. He was always calculating. He could make the tough decisions without batting an eye. Probably a sociopath….lol….
