It's pretty damn noisy but you'll get that with this much boost going on.

Did a quick vid of my 33 and the K-Tre... Love this pedal!

Thanks, you will recognize this place @Loudness250 ;)

Friedman Dirty Shirley mini + 33

I just got mine, and man does it really live up to the hype. It works amazingly with the butterslax, unlike the fortin grind which I found just completely thinned it out.

I really like the way the 33 sounds in the clips I've heard, I especially liked it with the JCM 800 in Ola's video.

However the preorders will be closing today, and probably will be a good while until they are open again.

I'll probably opt for something a bit cheaper for my JCM 800, like a used Keeley Katana

Yeah man, I find that it's so picky with overdrives. The VFE Focus and 33 however are magic with it

I'm in the preorder batch, hopefully have mine in a few weeks. Can't wait. It's gonna be epic !!!

Dang, I didn't see this thread when I posted another thread about getting a 33.

I have to agree with the others who have bought one - this pedal brings it. And I'm not a Meh-Sugar guy at all. More a fan of AIC/KSE/Alter Bridge tones, and I think the 33 sounds incredible. Much more than just a djenty pedal.

Finally got mine!!!

Really tried to scrounge up the cash to get the 33 after hearing how it sounded with a JCM 800 in Ola's video, but didn't pan out.
Hopefully it's not too long before they open up orders again, I'm in the facebook group so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for sure.

Hey Fellas -

I don't hang here (or any other forum or FB group) much at all these days but I saw this thread and thought I would chime in.

33 is basically the settings from a piece of gear that Fred has used extensively in front of various amps to achieve his tones in Meshuggah. It is also a boost.

Grind are the low and high shelves from the Girth and Grind circuit that are in the Evil Pumpkin and Natas. It is also most definitely a boost.

I will agree that they are not super versatile and they really aren't meant to be. That is why the 33 has a channel switching jack on it so it can be turned of when going to a different amp channel. However, if you are into super tight and fast bass response, both pedals will get you there. If that is your thing I doubt you'll ever turn it of for rhythm playing.

I am working on a video as we speak. Mine will be thorough just like the two videos that I did for the Grind pedal.

Cheers!
