I don't believe jupiter or saturn are "other planets".
What’s your definition of a planet?

There is no definition that isn't some recent, modern explanation based on current trendy ideas about "space" which also isn't real. What’s your definition of a planet?

I haven't believed in "space" for a long time. It's a fictional 20th century invention. Those are the heavens.Space isn’t real now?
I’m Australian - am I also a paid actor pretending to live in a made up country?
We could all be living in a simulation. There is no definition that isn't some recent, modern explanation based on current trendy ideas about "space" which also isn't real.
I'ts analog. Watch the Truman show, I believe it's something akin to that. A closed system with Christ overseeing it's production. We could all be living in a simulation.
Well it’s as good a theory as any I suppose.I'ts analog. Watch the Truman show, I believe it's something akin to that. A closed system with Christ overseeing it's production.
If the world lacked any mystery, what fun would that be?Well it’s as good a theory as any I suppose.
But we can see these planets from earth with our own eyes. Even if you want to call it “the heavens” it is still full of observable formationsI haven't believed in "space" for a long time. It's a fictional 20th century invention. Those are the heavens.
I believe in Australia. People vacation there.
This is true but I don't call them planets except to speak modern lingo with others who believe that stuff. Saturn, Jupiter, etc, those are all names of pagan gods. Why would I believe they are "planets"? That's a modern term, an inventon. But we can see these planets from earth with our own eyes. Yeah but that is all modern stuff. You want me to discard 7000 years of human history in favor of some recent 20th century inventions which are contestable.Planets have a definition for organizational purposes. You can call them all heavenly bodies if you want, but they still show observable patterns and features that let us classify them

I don't have an opinion on it. I think it is circular and that is about the extent of my beliefs. If I can't find scriptural references that would lend credence to an idea I generally discard scientific claims. What is your take on the name “earth”? There doesn’t seem to be a clear consensus on what it was called originally in the Bible.
Saturn for example is supposedly 900 million miles away. I keep pointing out that you can’t know what you’re looking at through your telescope, let alone by naked eye.But we can see these planets from earth with our own eyes. The supposed images of the planets are comical. It looks like someone put a neat marble, with no surface imperfections, at the end of a toilet roll tube and took a picture. Boom! Saturn bro! BuT iT hAs RiNgS oN iT!!!!!Saturn for example is supposedly 900 million miles away. I keep pointing out that you can’t know exactly what you’re looking at through your telescope, let alone by naked eye.

Have you ever looked through a decent telescope at the moon even? Why can’t you know what you are looking at through a telescope?
Like the current English Bible uses the word Earth, but what was it translated from is my question I guessI don't have an opinion on it.
