It's a gorgeous clean channel. IMO, way better than the simple clean on a BE, or supposedly Vox voiced on a JJ100. It won't crunch up like the plexi channel on a Smallbox. It's more like a super clean, high wattage Fender. Takes pedals fantastic, pretty as you want with effects like compression, modulation, reverb, delay.

Here's the latest clip I made of the gain channel, using a friend's Ormsby guitar. This is stock Friedman voicing and gain structure. Rhythm was non-boosted, regular BE gain. I bounce back n forth between HBE and BE boosted with a TS on the leads. EVH SDE3000 and Boss looper in the effects loop.

I can do ya a deal. Like new in the box. I mostly use the Strymon DIG, tbh. I dialed it in to my fav EVH SDE setting, and leave it there. I'll never utilize the EVH to its fullest potential.

I’m in Australia. First step though is a new amp. My main 2 amps don’t have loops so delay sounds garbage. Also considering a power station to use as loop. Basically I am in a major rethink of my gear and tone currently. For the first time in years.

Ooohhh. I sent a Soldano HR50+ to Australia, back in the early 2000s. Don't think I could afford to do so now. Modern shipping prices out of DFW are stupid.

I have to have a good effects loop on any high gain amp, if only to use a looper pedal. What're you running? What're you trying to achieve?

I've had the PS1 and 2. They weren't for me. I may be in the minority, but didn't like the way they changed the feel. I liked the Boss Waza better. That's the way I'd go if I needed attenuation and an effects loop for a nmv amp.

Just a Wampler faux tape echo. I haven’t really used and delay for about a decade. Like I said, revisiting my tone now. Just want to enjoy it again and the tones that got me interested back in the day in the first place.

The Waza has been out for almost a decade and still nothing on the market can do what it does. I’m ready to ‘upgrade’ the TAE since I’ve been using it constantly for 7 or so years but not without the above

Per Mike’s video, everything on it is midi controllable.
