so once you get a working version, how long will it take you to actually assemble these bad boys?
I figure 20-30 hrs or so... the chassis and the turret board will be laser cut in bunches so that will save quite a bit of effort...mentoneman":2ez9or0l said:so once you get a working version, how long will it take you to actually assemble these bad boys?
Awesome! Oh man - that would save a lot of effort!duesentrieb":18xrksy4 said:Cool !!!!
btw Steve, my tube and parts seller now has these little PCB boards for Finder/Takamisawa Relays to make guys like us life a bit easier. Let me know if (for the next amp or so) you want some of them . . .
Yup! Also SOZO Vintage caps, Riken resistors and PRP resistors sprinkled throughout... for different reasons...Vrad":23q5ysnw said:NICE!!!
Solen Fast Caps I see... <twists_moustache>Very interesting</twists_moustache>

I thought I was nuts, but I can hear the difference between different cap brands/materials. It's NOT subtle... LOL!
Haven't played around with different resistors yet.
Oh yeah... and that Sozo break-in period... it's no joke.
Yup... furthering the break in process as we type...dstroud":31tdkove said:Vrad":31tdkove said:sah5150":31tdkove said:Yup! Also SOZO Vintage caps, Riken resistors and PRP resistors sprinkled throughout... for different reasons...Vrad":31tdkove said:NICE!!!

yup, I experienced that Sozo break in period also - the more you play your amp just starts sounding better and better!
You will - getting close, hang in with me!dstroud":23r87msd said:looking great man, I'm seriously hoping to get a chance to hear this beast!![]()
Thanks man! The loop is a series/parallel switchable one. Different than Larry's. I've heard Larry's is a great parallel loop.Geoff J":3o5mg1uu said:You DA MAN, steve !!!
The most revolutionary Marshall Madness !
are there any posts you made here regarding the loop ? (if there is going to be one)
If so, I'll look for them, just curious
What do you think of the Larry Loop ?
Yeah man - it's taken forever, but finally getting close...Lord Toneking":jx4gg1s7 said:Whoa! I just checked in...and I see light at the end of the tunnel![]()
