I figure 20-30 hrs or so... the chassis and the turret board will be laser cut in bunches so that will save quite a bit of effort...mentoneman":2ez9or0l said:

Ok, so here is this week's update... Cut, drilled, staked w/eyelets and populated/soldered the relay power board and also drilled the chassis to accept it (PITA - glad this will all be done in advance by laser on my next chassis!). That board has a 1A, 50V bridge rectifier and a 7806 voltage rectifier and I had to use 3/32" eyelets for those. That is 1000 uF electrolytic cap off the board. The red wire from the last relay DIN connects there and I need to run a wire to the XLR plug to power the foot switch relays as well. Black wire goes to ground. You can also see that I've drilled the chassis and installed a 6VAC PT - that'll connect to the relay power board and the on/off. Now all chassis drilling is DONE! I need to do the input jack wiring, wire in the board, put the EFX loop in and then I can build the foot switch and get rockin'.

yup, I experienced that Sozo break in period also - the more you play your amp just starts sounding better and better!
