The mint green pg on cream might be my favorite combo.

You mentioned just the 820R on the last cathode, I think that makes a big difference. From a pure tone standpoint, I generally prefer no cap there too.

The difference is pretty small. With a cap, it's got a bit more high mids, and a tiny bit more gain, but as the Jose is aggressive to start with and I wanted a smoother tone, I left it out.

Theres a lot of really knowledgable people here on this forum, they've owned most of the modded amps out there, I saw some folks trashing you on more inclusive forums where they sniff each others buttholes and I'm stoked you're here.
