Furman PQ3 in the house!!!

Man...this thing sounds killer with my Rivera!!!!! It tightens up the bottom end and really helps sustain leads as well.

so i just busted my PQ-3 out from the garage pile....man its been over 20 years since i used this gadget and obviously forgot how to set this up. i prefer similar to a Tube screamer boost ( mid-hump ) with a little more soup ..recommendations on settings? I know how used to use it as a line effect with a Hush II back then..

Where the hell do you get your facts bro? Id use a PAF pickup but everything else is pretty much spot on and true.

WARNING: Using a PQ3 with a stratocaster is the epitome of Liberace. Know what I mean? Even owning it as such a strat guy is detrimental to your testosterone levels. I strongly suggest selling it cheaply to your friend up the freeway and spare yourself the need to switch teams. I don't think this outfit looks good with a big headstock strat.

That PQ3 could have been a new MTS module for you my friend. Plus it could have stayed on the west coast where it wouldn't have been a party to the insane gain levels these east coast freaks require to "get metal".

Yeah, I remember meeting you, but then I got you confused with TOStudent who also came down and met me one time and got some Randall MTS modules. That's where that comment came from.

Anyways it looks like Paige likes the PQ3..... this week. Next week? It may be heading back to the west coast
