I'll stick with the various Avatar speakers variants.

Reasonable prices, and damn do they sound good.

A 2-12 cab I bought recently has a Reaper and Invader. The Reaper dominates the sound and is like the H30’s. All bass and highs with no mids. Yuck.
I had some Reaper HPs and had a similar experience. Sold em quick!

Haven't tried the anniversaries but I would describe the 75hz heritage g12-H30's as mid forward, but well balanced. The 55hz sounded more scooped to me with abrasive highs. Didn't care for 'em.

Is there a sound difference between the UK and chinese versions?
My experience is with Greenbacks but the difference between the same version of a UK Celestion and Chinese Celestion is about the same as the difference between two UK versions of the same speaker.

They are a great speaker, but they can kind of fatigue the ear with how heavy they are in presence. I like then better than V30 and feel like they are kind of a strange mix of v30 and greenback. But at the end of the day, it was just a little harsh.

I think the perfect compromise was moving to red backs. They are just such a balanced speaker and reallzy accentuate accurately what you put in with the eq
I’m a v30s real though

I just installed 4 in an older Marshall cab and they sound great! These were broken in nicely so no harshness on these 4..sound great clean and pushed hard..

Hey Mix, thanks for being helpful. can I ask what amp you're running into that cab?

This.

Heritage G12H-30 (75hz) >>> G12H30 Anniversary

The Heritage does great nailing that warm thumping lowend and raw glassy midrange in the early 70's Marshall 75hz G12H-30 tone. The Anniversary is cold and sterile sounding in comparison.
