Saxon is fine, but there's a reason Diamond Head influenced a million other bands and literally no one carries the torch for saxon

Although, some of the later saxon stuff is quite good

Truly great album
Their other stuff was pretty bad. Also having a band member's mom (I think??) managing the band was a bad idea

My feelings as well. I often play this on guitar just for warm up. Love Helpless too. Crash course has interesting rhythms, but don't love the song as whole.

I guess I don't get the obsession with a pretty bland version of metal, post Mustaine. Pantera and Death pretty had much blown all those guys out of the water by the mid 90's. Hardly anyone here talks about Dimebag or Chuck though. Just the same EVH or Bob Seeger and the Silver McBullet boys.
