I guess I don't get the obsession with a pretty bland version of metal, post Mustaine. Pantera and Death pretty had much blown all those guys out of the water by the mid 90's. Hardly anyone here talks about Dimebag or Chuck though. Just the same EVH or Bob Seeger and the Silver McBullet boys.

There's a million facebook groups with guys obsessed with Chuck and Dime, though. There are a couple of other guys that have a legion of fans too, Matt Pike from sleep and high on fire, and Muhammed Suicmez from Necrophagist. It's insane. All their guitars and gear are like insane collector shit now. Even the cheap stuff.

If all those dudes from facebook/instagram had RT accounts, I'm sure I'd be as sick of talking about them as I am about EVH, Randy Rhoads and Jake

It's exhausting because it's the same fucking conversations over and over again. Like at one point I thought FUCK and Under Lock and Key were pretty cool records; now I think it's fucking gay because i'm so sick of hearing about it

Which means since i've said something amp chaser will decide the secret to the shuidd pant toan is giving Wolfie a hummer or something and push me over the edge

It's not really truly free speech over there but I suppose it's better than it was when it was Twitter. It's still garbage though. Some of the content creators will post decent stuff but then the comments section smh, lol. Some of the guitar dudes post soloing vids every day and guys who aren't very good at guitar will gush over it lol.

It's wild, no one here gives a shit whenever theres a song or video posted, but god damn as soon as people are arguing about EVH the whole forum is there. I'm gonna use that to my advantage at some point when I need to, for sure
