GASing for a new acoustic..thanks to Al Di Meola

Been listening to a lot of Al Di Meola, along with John McLauglin, Birele Lagrene, and Paco de Lucia. Listening to Al's sound with those Ovation acoustics is really making me want a new acoustic to add to the arsenal. I love my Washburn I have now, but it's a bitch to play, and really bass heavy. I want something I can play fast on without feeling like my wrist bone is going to be protruding from my skin when I'm done. Something with a bit more high end to it for recording purposes as well. Anyone got any cheap suggestions?

Seagull guitars aren't too bad on the lower end. Or even the Ibanez acoustics at least have a nice neck and feel. You definitely need to play one though before you buy, I wouldn't just order online.
