Gear Review section

Could the gear review section be moved above the manufacturer's area? With the list of manufacturers being so long I think most people; including myself, forget it's all the way down there if they realize it's down there at all. It might get more use & traffic with better visibility.

We discussed rules and their locations in the last Conversation, mod banners and the mod list in the Members section in the previous one and your
Whats' Cookin' thread in the Conversation prior to that, which was in February, so yeah, we haven't discussed this.

I'm guessing it was something you intended to bring up but forgot to.

I think it's a great idea. I'll request this of admin ASAP.

@MadAsAHatter I reckon the best spot would be between OTC (above it) and HCAF Refugee Shanty Town (below it), so that's what I'll request. If you have a better idea, post it here and I'll monitor the thread to see if you concur.

I'll also request that "Everything Else Reviews" be moved to the bottom of that list 'cause it'd make sense.

Looks like the existing list is simply in the default-alphabetical order.

You are probably correct. Your memory on these things is usually very accurate. I think I had a convo with a mod at one point about seeing if we could collapse all of those Manufacturer Threads into 1 general subforum heading, and then one would click on that to see all of them. It may not have been in a DM, but I remember talking about how we have too many of those Mnfc subs and it is cluttery.

That sounds like a decent spot for the review section. As long as it's not at the bottom of the page under the big ass manufacturers section I think it'll get noticed more.

OK it's been moved but it couldn't be placed exactly where I suggested 'cause OTC and Shanty Town belong in the "Discussions" section.

Looks good now I reckon, right where it is. "Everything Else Reviews" is now at the bottom of that section where it rightly belongs too.

Unfortunately it's still at-the-bottom in the "Forum list" dropdown menu. I'm getting admin to tweak that separately as evidently the forum software doesn't automatically reorder it to reflect changes made on the main page.
