Two guitars I really wish I still had: ESP JH2 and JH3

Great guitars I miss a lot. :(

did you ever have squealing from the patchmate switching the high gain preamps in and out of the path?

by the way,

bad move!
( just had to twist the daggar :hys: )

No, the switching worked flawlessly. In fact, that makes it even more painful. The whole rack worked great, no ground loops, no issues.

Yes, BAD MOVE.

In fact, it was EPIC just how bad that move was. The only reason I am not still crying myself to sleep at night is that I really had tired of moving that thing around. Too big, too heavy, too much. Who needs that many tones? Two good channels, a boost pedal and a volume control is all I need for gigs.

very true
and listen man if you are happy with you're current rig and it does the job you need it to do then that is the perfect rig period.
i have a pile of crazy rack and pedal crap in my livingroom right now and it sounds great but the amount of hassle it would take to make this gig ready makes it less attractive so no pressure to hurry and use it all now-just having fun
i used my gforce on one preset for like a year before making it midi ready

my regret sell offs---carol ann od2r, egnater tol 100, some classic pedals like ce-1, original tc lineup, ada and mxr flangers, rare rivera buf IV pedal, hardwood/wicker mark IIb 300 series head build and signed by randy smith.

Exactly. We're on the same page in all respects.

As for the section I highlighted in red.....

touche, my friend.
i bought it for $400 bucks
had i sent it to bendinelli for the C+ upgrade it would have been one of the sickest boogies in history.

thanks for reminding me

Hey, I used to have a Egnater TOL100 as well! The reason I let mine go was it was noisy as hell on all settings that had any gain. I mean REALLY noisy... wonder if mine was broken or something?!
i did a demo of mine on youtube running through all the channels and the noise wasnt bad for how high the gain was
bruce did a mumetal mod/wrap around the transformer because the proximity hum on those amps got pretty bad.
but when all pistons are firing it is a classic to modern tone machine.

my old CAE 3+ preamp, used to belong to Steve Vai. would love to get that back!

sold a custom esp strat from the nyc days for a $150 bucks to go to cali back in the 90's..oh well..

Alright, thanks! I'll have to dig into YT...I did like the tones I got from it a lot, but found the amp unusable at higher volume because of the noise :( .

I have had two guitars that fall into this category: a black Orville by Gibson Les Paul Custom and a trans amber Jackson PC-3 with a Wilkinson bridge. I really wish I didn't have to part with either of them, but I needed the money very badly at the time.

Sometimes I wish I didn't trade my Charvel Model 6 for the Tokai Love Rock I had...but then I remember how awesome that guitar really was!

Nothing beats a Charvel model 6

Latest? ENGL SE. Over the years - every cool guitar I owned that I only got money for - the money is long gone. Those awesome guitars would still be just as awesome - I guess they are still awesome somewhere. LP Special goldtop with soapbars, SG's, 335's, Strats, beat up Super Rerveb with only 3 of the 4 10's - very frustrating to really think about...
