Genz Benz El Diablo 100, Thoughts?

There is one more thought...
An amp is an instrument, just like a guitar. You have to "play it" right. Any beginning guitarist can get modeling amp or a BigMuff-PI, drop their guitar on the floor and sound like Eddie Van Halen, but it takes more effort to control a Genz Benz El Diablo. I love this amps "haunting" tonal quality and its one of my favorite amps!
 
Clean channel is awesome, the lead channel I could never get along with. It has a solid state phase inverter and that seemed to lend something odd to the feel/tone of the amp. Built well however and some cool features. I would spend some serious time with one before you buy. I bought one liking it at first at the store but after a few months it became my least favorite high gain amp i've ever owned. YMMV.
