LULZ!

George has made some some crappy records in the last few yrs but man Hes also made some damn good ones back in the 80s and 90s--moreso than what I have done--and I admit hes thrown the Lynch name around alot on guitar gear but it is part of the music business game of keeping your name out there--Keep on Rockin George with whatever thou must use

I think Steve Stevens has done alot, and won a grammy. I just saw him with the kings of chaos and his tone killed slash's tone that night. It wasnt even a close. His signature pickups and amp are killer too. Steve has done something different that most have not, His signature stuff is from High-end botique manufacturers, stuff that he actually uses. It isnt a mass production sell out and just for some $$$$
you know he actually uses this stuff in the studio and on the road which is the whole point of signature gear anyway, (EVH, Lynch!!!)

I've been a fan of George ever since I first saw him in 1982' but I feel he has over-leveraged himself with the marketing and has little credibility with me and his products in general.

Having said that I bought the Morley Lynch Dragon wah [the first one] 6 years ago. The first 100 were hand signed and its a very good pedal.

Its got a boost, wah & wow feature and they don't make this model anymore to my knowledge.

Still have mine (it's my 2nd). Hand signed but it's fading. Some amps this works great, other amps I prefer using the Bad Horsie. Either way it's still a great wah and I've used these since they came out.

I own, and have owned, a lot of gear that has George Lynch's name attached to it via endorsements:

Eminence Super V speakers
Celestion Lynchbacks
LTD 500T
LTD 500K
LTD GL600MT
LTD GL-256
Genz Benz Gflex
Peavey XXX (unofficially his first sig amp, read up on it)
Morley Dragon Wah
Morley Tripler
SD Screamin' Demon

All of them were and are pretty damn good pieces of gear. Only one I didn't jive with was the Super V speakers, but either I didn't give them a chance in a 4x12 (only had a pair), or they weren't broken in enough. I still have everything else except the 500T and GL-256, and they get used a lot here and there with my band.

In the end I don't really care all that much if he doesn't use them. Yes it's aggravating when your hero just slaps his name on it and uses something else, but at least he had a hand in designing most of his stuff. He got a lot of use out of his Mk I Lynchboxes, and every now and then will actually use the Mk 2/LB103. When I had a private lesson with him in '10, he brought in his own Mk 1 Lynchbox, and I played through a 50 watter. Both rigs sounded badass even at the lower volumes we had them running at.

Maybe Lynch endorsed/co-designed his gear so OTHERS could enjoy it, and maybe it wasn't solely for him?

That'll look awesome sitting in front of the modded Marshall and/or Bogner he will have behind the main stage.

Hmm I have bought owned and played lots of Lynch signature or endorsed products.
I personally think the lynchbox was noisy and sounded like crap, same with the xxx .
One of the main reasons I bought a Bogner was I saw Lynch using them for years
Through the mid 90's to early 2000's I think he sounded great and consistent .
Now he is hit and mis has too many heads and stuff going on not as clear .
I find it funny people don't talk much about Lych using Bogners but he did for years .
Not sure why he stopped ? I think his tone was better then compared to now .
