Looks like 95 percentage can’t leave.
I am the fucking sad 5 .percent

Me too man, semi conductor manufacturing..just went from 10 years of 6am - 2:30pm to Graveyard shift 10 pm - 6 am. They did the shift thing to split everyone up, got home an hour ago and have been pounding beers...still not complaining and glad to work.

We're making parts that go into GE ventilators so we're essential.

Construction, home improvement retail yard...we're essential apparently?

Me too.

So I guess I'm here until I get sick.

Well, they are keeping the Dildo/Fleshlight factory open...so off to work I go.

I work for a faucet manufacturer. We are working from home but open. Thankful though because my wife lost her gig last Friday due to the shutdown.

Son is a junior partner.
Chiropractor. Paid leave from the office.
Insane.

I'm not making racing pistons right now. Apparently performance pistons aren't "essential" right now.

Similar to my brother's line of work. He said work has not stopped, they are just doing more of it form home.

I am in IT Consulting and requests for satellite communications, colocation hosting, remote access/VPN, disaster recovery, microwave/small cell, and stuff like that is hot

hell yes it's hot...people are learning to work remotely and still remain productive...what some are finding out (unfortunately) is the infrastructure just ain't quite where it needs to be "from home". i live in the sticks man...and i'm working from home, when i can (actually am right now...shhh, don't tell the bosses ;) but my only real option is a hotspot. i have all the d/l-u/l speed i need, the problem is my data bill is going to be through the roof. for now, the wife and i have our faith that our provider will waive the overages due to this shitty situation... like they "promised they would"

in the field though... i'm changing up my game plan...taking more texts, phone calls, facetimes for contractors and owners, but otherwise we keep pushing the ball man... it's a crazy business anyway but this has introduced a-whole-nother-level of fuck-fuckery!

I’m CIO (took the job 6 months ago) for a company that never allowed work from home. So we’ve had some crazy long days building out the program and getting 1600 people setup to work remote or else close the company when the inevitable order for “stay in place” came in. Order from governor came today and just in the nick of time will be able to keep the company going and people employed. It’ll will be cumbersome for many but at least it’ll function.... I’m tired as shit though.

I work for a massive finance company and have been working from home. They went to a virtual desktop system about 7 months ago. So basically once I log in, I have access to everything. Even the latency is at a minimum. Only thing that sucks is I had two monitors in the office. At home I only have one. I’m too cheap to get another. lol. I have a feeling they are going to start having us work from home more often to get rid of the overhead of an office building.

I work for a Large Fire Alarm Company & we are considered "Essential" Until we are not. I've been at work everyday & I'm posting from work right now. Our building is laid out in a way that no one is closer to each other than say 10 feet. The distance between employees has always been the case at this company.
