Check this out.. Ghost on swedish awards show.
Awesome vintage sounding heavy rock band with a twist of insanity.
Realy enjoys the sound of those Rockerverbs.

 
Been listening to them for a while. very cool!

And very satanic lyrics. :D
 
Great band! Wanted one of those Gibson RD's my whole life too!

How about how hot Swedish TV girls are yowza... they always have foxes on shows.
 
I just this it's cool to see something upcoming not being brutal, chunky, rough childhood stories so on and so forth. Clear parallel to 70's style with Mercyful Fate dramatism.
 
No offense meant but I am sure some will be offended.

I absolutely hate this band and think they suck really bad.

Good for them for having Cult following and being on TV and what not but i really think they are bad.

The one thing I will give them is their "sound"/gear is good. Other than that again i hate this band lol.

The singer sucks, the Keys are circusy, the riffs are elementary and they worship Satan. Worst band ever

If it floats someone's boat it's all good. I think comparing them to King Diamond and Mercyful Fate is a dis-service to KD and MF. I see the obvious visual reference and satanic imagery but musically their light years apart for me. They're not heavy/rockin' enough for me and there's too much camp in the music.
 
I agree.. they are lightyears from MF and KD.. Ill pull that back. None comes close to the awesomeness of the king.

Enjoy their stuff nonetheless.

I wouldn't "Seek out" this kind of music to listen to, but that was a fun watch. The Costumes, Venue, lighting, Circusy keys, "Guys actually singing somewhat", the whole Black Pope?Nazgul thing... lol :lol: :LOL: . Good stuff. Good for them! they looke like they are enjoying the ride :thumbsup:
 
that was cool, and the song Reza posted is cool as well! i can hear some Mercyful Fate influence. i also agree that no one can top MF and King for that style, but these guys have their own thing going on. i dig it! bit of a throwback sound. cool stuff!

Mercyful fate was awesome... I was rocking out to them this weekend never gets old...
 
The only King similarity is the theatrics and the make up.. he doesn't come CLOSE to KD or MF. The musicianship and riffs aren't even close. More doomy Black Sabbath type stuff and def. no Andy Laroque anywhere in sight!!!

I thought the band pretty much sucked there though to be honest. As for satanism.. how cheeseball is that. It is even more ridiculous than Stryper and the whole jesus kick. The only person who ever made any sense while talking about the satanic bible was King Diamond and even there, he made it sound a little gimmicky.

Even worse. This guy really cannot sing and the tone is not there for me here. Worse, is the fact that the album cover makes him look like ghostly fantoma from a scoobie Doo cartoon episode.
 


LOL - need I say more? Are they in the FBI witness protection plan and need to hide their voices too? I'm sorry but these guys are such a farce. They offend my sense of tight leather pants, hair spray, and dudes that looked like chicks who could actually rip on their instruments.
 
It's not for everyone, and I didn't like them when I first heard their first disc. But they don't seem to be trying to be taken seriously regarding the stage act, etc... Just having fun. And the band would probably appreciate the Scoobie reference. :D
 
I was expecting an actual ghost on Swedish TV. Disappointed.
