Sell it and buy that Hello Kitty Fender.

Would never pay that much for a production guitar or really any guitar for the most part.
If it were a Hello Kitty Cremonese or Venetian cello from late 17th/early18th century, I might consider paying more than it's worth.

Yeah. A used American fender is a safe buy if you’re not sure a certain type of guitar works for you. They can always be resold without losing a ton.

I’ve never played a new one I’d consider at their current pricing. Pretty much all the higher end copies are a better value for around the same cost. American g&l’s are probably the best value on a used fender style guitar.

I actually have almost bought one of those Sonic ESPs before. Decent deal given they are ESPs and not an LTD or other. Wish they had made all of the inlays rings, though.

This is right on the money and also why I haven't bought a brand new mid priced guitar since 2000 when they were blowing out the mirror image Hendrix strats.

The new Luxe series Fender Strats have original locking Floyd rose trems, compound radius fret boards, stainless steel frets, in HSS with the contour heal like all the ultra-series bodies have and cool paint job with painted headstock. They are on sale now for $2200 bucks. I think that is a killer deal for a USA made guitar with those options. I wish Charvel had more USA made options in that price range and something that isn't a shitty color in my opinion.

I mean and that Augmented D profile is insanely good. Probably the only nicer necks I've played would be a Fender JM Sig and the Fender JB Sig.

That "tremolo" on Fenders has always been pitiful. Tuning stability always ass unless you attempt 9 different things to keep it stable
Its like when Mesa Boogie came out with II's and III's... those amps were so far beyond what came before them....why go back??

I own an olive green USA Strat, but I often think I should have just bought a Charvel because my playing style is more suited towards heavy tones. And now that Charvel have the cool Fender headstock, it makes it even more appealing. Personally though, I think it's b.s. that Fender was able to prevent other makers from using the headstock.

I also use Fender noiseless single coils in some of my guitars. I don't hear what people complain about with them. You're still getting about 95% of the real tone, and without the horrible noise. They are good enough for me. If you use a lot of gain, it's just too annoying trying to play with the regular single coils.
