I recognize that the above explanation from Rich was not part of his opening post to this thread. So, if anybody jumped into the thread and commented without having read the first 20 posts or so, you would have missed this. This is why we should always read a thread from front to back before commenting. Otherwise, you're just posting in the dark.

Definitely not for censorship, and my post has nothing to do with it, as you would have realized had you read & thought it through, so, let's not confuse the issue.

I see both sides of this coin the same as with most Goodbye Forever threads. You just happen to be in the "none of you have guts to say it to his face" camp, which is just another of the emotionally charged extremes because you have no way of knowing whether its true and the likelihood of it is zero to none. Sweeping generalizations are not your friend.

I didn't really see enough of the dudes posts to observe what others are describing but certainly hope he's OK.

Do a word search in your post for the word NONE. In context, "none" is referring to those who posted the "not many of the comments." In other words you're saying NONE of the people being critical would say it to his face. Perhaps that is not what you meant to say?

Most things are open to interpretation, particularly when the statements are emotionally charged because it's difficult to interpret whether the statements were said as one offs in the heat of the moment or they're solid opinions held by the speaker.

Sorry guys. I know you all hate me and my posts. I hate being this way.
I have serious health problems that impact my brain.
I had Lyme disease and Babesiosis so bad it did damage to my immune system and I ended up with MGUS.
The MGUS puts me at a higher risk for blood cancer.
As a result I also have other issues, mental capacity declining, memory issues, fogy brain which I think ends up making me seem insane. My doctor says I have early dimensia and Alzheimer's.
I take medicine for the symptoms and the severe pain. The medications also mess with my mind. I am also high risk for cancer as mentioned above so I go to Fox Chase Cancer Center every few months for monitoring.
It is no fun, but it has a lit to do with why I am how I am.
I wasn't always like this. I hate that I jump back and forth and half the time don't recall what I did or said.
I keep notes all over the place just to keep my life in order somewhat.


One thing my doctors have said is the fact that I eat so well and work out regularly and have been into bodybuilding and power lifting, natural of course, that it has helped my body cope with the infection and disease.

In my travels I know I have upset and hurt some people and for that I am sorry. I am a good person and try to do my best and have not felt like myself in some time.

I am going to be taking a break from forums for quite some time. I need to clear my head and concentrate on my health, work and family. I have a 9 year old daughter who needs my time more than gear.

I went back and realized that I had missed this because it was a quote.. well that is a diff story. Surprised he didn't cut and paste it here as well though? Exit threads are epic but on this one, I feel bad for the guy. What are ya gonna do.. I hardly think this thread or forum is as important as raising his kid and keeping his brain together so I can see it. I do think there is a nicer way to say goodbye so that you don't generate an epic thread but hey, we all suffer from wanting people to notice us out in the cruel hard world.
