Okay, he says PWE amps are one of the best amps ever. Are PWE amplifiers as great as richdie says? I nearly purchased one, but I didn't like the Star Trek-ish control descriptions. Excursion, Acceleration, Phaser, Photon...etc. Just seems a bit cheesy to me.

Please do me a favor and leave me out of all conversations involving Rich. What exactly is your point here?

Didn't mean to upset you... My point is that I would like to know if others have played the PWE amps, and do they sound as good as Rich says. Just because Rich is eccentric doesn't mean he doesn't have a good ear for tone. Just giving the guy the benefit of the doubt is all.

No problem. But, do you really think I'm on this thread because Rich deserves the benefit of the doubt? There are clips of the amp with a known good player demoing it. Who cares what some guy with absolutely no credibility thinks? Maybe I know something about him that you don't. In any case, I'm asking you nicely to please leave my name out of this conversation.

You're talking to a guy who would list a Cornford amp for sale on ebay every other week and then would pull the ad. Back and forth....back and forth...this went on for god knows how long.

BTW, I see Maken' Music has a Even Horizon 3 in stock. I might have to hike on over there and check it out next week.

Yeah, there's a 50 watt over there. If you try it, please plug into a V30 cab if possible and let me know what you think.

Dude, get over it already! Can I help if I had a difficult time letting go of my Cornford MK50H II amplifier? The one I've tried to forget about since the day I sold it. Now see what you've done... I'm leaving...
