Gooped - anyway to get this splooge off

sorry for resurrecting this old thread.

as far as i know, the father of all goop-masters called alexander dumble has always gooped his amps.
but one of his disciples seems to sometimes forget gooping.

why does our goop-master goop some amps but not the others?
can it be intended?? or is it bothersome for him to goop every amps?

( of cource, Brad-era CCV is not the case. )
 
You can degoop anything using a Dremel tool. You must be very very careful and proceed very slowly. It will takes several days. But it's doable if you're really motivated. :)

the pre-prod CCV is not gooped either, although some components are mounted under the board. As stated. The components that are gooped will likely never need replacing. As long as you can replace your electrolytic, you are good. The reason for hooping is that design gets copied and passed of as people’s own work.

The Fortin Cali was just a handful of component changes, ceriatone, Blades and others are all basically cameron based with a few component changes some of which I would wager where even by mistake, not design.
