Thank you for the welcome, and yes I was there (some) before here...
I could write a thesis on why musicians' forums ostensibly should be (and once were) populated by "musicians", who of all people would know it's a carnival-worker's lifestyle and the broadest range of "unconventional" people, worldviews, situations and opinions should be just part of the joy and humor of it all...
I don't think most TGP regulars are much into joy and humor though.

Yup have three degrees and was taught by Profesors teaching the best business program West of the Mississippi.
Went to Fullerton JC and got my transfer to Cal State. Unfortunately I am unable to afford college anymore but one day plan on saving up to go back and finish it..... I have an Asssociates Degree for transfer in both Business Sciences and Business Arts as well as one for General Education.
Just need to take BS elective classes and all the important core stuff like Accounting and Calc are done and finished before I get a Bachelors. I always focused on the important stuff first and glad I did because education does matter IMO.
Leo Fender also went to the same school.

I am in business too, sales and consulting actually, and I'd embarrassed if I wrote like that, not to mentioned your hate speech. Maybe get a different browser or enable writing suggestions. Remember kid, you are only as good as your last Quarter's sales. I mean, if you choose to get political on a public forum - you can potentially alienate 1/2 of your potential customer base. As someone here who has their own subforum in our Manufacturers section, you'd think you'd be more conscientious of what you say and how you say it.
Here is a snippet from just last Saturday alone in OTC.

I quit turning in essays and stuff when they made compute a part of it.
Do people actually write song lyrics and ideas without ever using a physical notebook now? That seems like shit to me. I was talking to another member and we were discussing how much better real books are than screen stuff. They robbed our kids of real life engagement. I could never read an "e-book" or write a song on a computer and feel good about it. Digital is dirty.

He's only suggesting you not mix up politics here if you wanted to further your cables sales, which is sound business advice but might not fit your objectives or desires, that's all. I get where you are coming from. I'm mostly here to make friends and talk with people who like guitar stuff but who don't have TGP hive mind. In the end I don't have to care about someone's politics because a) it's beyond my control and b) the people talking politics aren't in charge of anything anyways.

Shouldn’t be hard to believe at all. Post any evidence that goes against their faith beliefs in magical wood or mic preamps. Post an actual frequency sweep showing that the 5000 dollar metoo mic pre is no flatter than the 50 dollar one they pretend they can hear as inferior. Do a livestream offering 5000 dollars in gear and 500 in cash against 100 dollars on their end if they can pick which mic pre is which in an ABX test or which species of wood is which or even if there is wood involved.
