Man I love Greg. He knows exactly what to play.
A professional guitar player.

Amps sound ridiculous.

They all sound great... and a very cool demo as well. I think if I were to buy a Friedman... it would be the Smallbox...since I could 'almost' afford it. The others are just way out of my reach.... but I think the Smallbox is a damn fine amp.

A mini Dirty Shirley!

Now my credit card is going to hurt.

No regrets buying mine. It's awesome!!! I think the Smallbox gave GK the biggest grin

That was very cool one-stop shopping. Dave definately knows his shit. Great tones out of his guitar too. I love the single coil stuff.

when i am going to learn NOT to watch any friedman amp vids while i dont have money!

MAn, I wish Friedman would make a tube preamp based stomp box for the dirty shirley. That thing is la bomba! The sound I have been after. I can't afford the real deal right now.

The whole lineup sounds absolutely fantastic and Greg rips. The Dirty Shirley is just raw rock goodness. The standout was Dave's lav mic though. ;)

I sold my Friedman 2weeks after I bought it. Bought an EVH for half the price and never looked backed

Just curious, which one did you have?

I know I'd like the Friedmans or a 5150-III. My Axe-FX keeps my G.A.S. at bay but not sure how much longer. :)

:D  Nothing against the EVH... I had 3 of them.

However, the Friedman line is 3 rungs above the EVH in tone, feel, build, and again tone. There really is no comparison. to each their own tho.

I had the Friedman hbe. Great build but so overrated. I know they are the next best thing but all at the end of the day they are just another amp in the pool. Just because they are boutique amp build doesnt put them above anybody else. Different strokes for different folks.,, evh amps blows them away for me

I like the EVH stuff too, but having owned both, the Friedman stuff is on another level IMO. Both great amps.

Yeah each to his own, but EVH is not in the same ballpark, having owned both.
Great vid.

Maybe we should explore what your music tastes are where the evh and Friedman stuff is concerned. I am guessing your target music is hard fast and heavy? For that the compression and nature of the red channel on the evh is well suited but for raw vintage plexi on steroids, I don't really hear it from the blue channel. The hundred watter is the best of the evh line because it has less gain and is more open if you ask me...I would still take anfriedman over it though !

Just another amp that is the flavor of the day. A very high price tag making them more desirable....just like anything else

But unlike most of the flavor of the day brands Friedman seems to have been flavor of the day since about 2012
