I'm thinking about trying to score some tickets. I have off the next day too. I havn't been to a game in a while. Geeze, the last game I went to was Reggie White's last game. I'll have to hit up my boss tomorrow. He's John Lombardi, grandson of Vince.

Yeah, I guess it is pretty cool. He tells me all sorts of NFL insider stuff. His brother is a coach for the Saints right now (don't know what position), and he (John) used to be a scout for a couple different teams. But he can be a dick sometimes. He's getting better though. You know the saying, "it's not what you say, it's how you say it"? Well, a lot of times, the problem is "how he says it".

Very cool though. Go Pack!!

Yeah, about 16 years.

I was at the game sunday. Never thought in a million years I would be there to see him break that record. Thanks, Brett. You have no idea how good that felt for a boy from North minneapolis who grew up loving the Pack.

Next week the Bears go into the Cheese Shredder.......

Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends- The Brett Favre Extravaganza

To the Bears, queens and Rock City- still your worst nightmare #4, ONLY 3 time MVP, Super Bowl Champion, all time touchdown, consecutive starts for a QB, victories, pass attempts, pass completions, consecutive 3000 yard seasons and all around true leader and ultimate football player BRETT LORENZO FAVRE

Cool that you were there for such a big moment. If i was starting a team with players in their prime i wouldn't pick Favre though. I've seen him play bad in plenty of big games. It's almost like he gets too amped up to play and he overthows and gets picked off. And if it wasn't for Desmond Howard, Favre wouldn't even have a Super Bowl ring. But i like to watch Favre play though. And when Peyton is done he's going to own all the records.

But i hope the Pack have a big year and somehow beat the Cowgirls in the playoffs.

in a packer-bear game you can throw the win loss records out the window. as far as favre throwing alot of picks.. yes.. but fast ball pitchers in baseball also give up alot of home runs. why? in both cases it's because they have the confidence to make those throws and don't get rattled when something bad happens. but you're right. i've seen him make some horrendous throws and just scratch my head wondering "what the hell was he thinking?"
peyton manning is a great qb. will he hold all the records? only time will tell.
either way sunday night's game should be a good one.

quite right about desmond howard. iirc he was named super bowl xxxi mvp.

Getting ready for the big game tonight

I don't see the Bears doing anything offensively against the Packers D tonight (never thought I would be saying that about 5 weeks ago !)

My call is Packers 23-10. I'm afraid Hester might get a return tonight.

I'm starting to pace around the house......waiting for the game. I don't know what to do with myself. I've been waiting all week for this game. I can't wait!!

Bitter bitter bitter.

That was a great first half of a game and then they just imploded. It's good that they established the running game but WTF don't just forget about the passing game altogether!!! Turnovers, bad clock management, and a shitload of penalties - you can't win games playing like that!!

I'm hoping they get it together in time to play the Redskins.

The Bears got lucky, but I will take it. :D

The pack's defense looks good, they sure shut down the Bears running game...
