All of the above! Lol...

I've got a open 2x12 with legacy greenies on top of a closed 2x12 with v30's.

I get it all!! Bwahaha!!

Mic what I want, take what I want. I feel spoiled

Edit duh!

In answer to the op, they do different things, unless you can haz both it depends I what your playing. Old school, green, 80's up, v's..

Well I have a couple of 4x12s loaded with V30s and I love them. My friend left his Splawn 2x12 with SB and BB combo and it sounds killer too. Together it's awesome. Been playing with my new delay pedal in a stereo setup. V30 4x12 and Splawn 2x12. I'm gonna have to get myself a 2x12 cab(or two :D ).

personal preference. but V30's goes great with Mesa amps, not most Marshalls IMO. a jcm800 should play well with greenbacks or even gt75s.

Didn't see this post before I posted mine, but I really tend to agree with this for older marshalls. The 800's and jmp's are so mid heavy, they sound better to me with a less mid spike of a speaker...even for heavier stuff.
The 2210 might be better with v30's if you're playing metal.. wasn't that scott ians old setup back in the day????

No Scott Ian used a JCM 800 2203 and then eventually moved on to using the Jubilee and then to the Slash Sig Jubilee, Then the JCM 2000 100 watt and finally switched to Randall after playing Dimebags rig.

I also really like the Weber Blue Dog, forgot to mention. I have the ceramic version and it is clear but still growls.
