Here's another interesting comparison, greenback on the left, V30 on the right.

The differences of the speakers are much less obvious when you use them in the same cab. My impression, at least...

Here' another clip. The Greenback is an the left and the V30 on the right:

Thats the V30 MF, as used in the Marshall Mode Four cabinets and also available as the Hellatone 60L ?
Yes it is. Regarding the Hellatone i have no clue. Is it modelled after the Vintage 30MF?

Which V30's are you using? The mesa, the Chinese or the Marshall?

It's a Marshall MF280 cab with english Vintage 30MF

That explains a lot, the marshall V30's are different then the Mesa's and even the normal V30. If you have access to a Mesa Cab I would love to hear a greenback Vs that V30

Yes.
Mesa 412 Rectifier Cab vs Marshall 1960TV is what i could offer :)

Hellatone is simply a rebranded (new sticker on the magnet) Vintage 30MF, that enabled them to be sold by various speaker distributors in the U.S. and Canada after the Marshall Mode Four series amps and cabs were discontinued.

I'd be a lot more interested in how the MF280 stacks up against the Recto cab! :D

I have always considered GBs' better for 'Classic rock' and V30s' better for modern rock. For the type of music recorded here it's hard to tell, there is a noticable difference but it's going to more of a decider when every other instrument is laid down to see what sits best. ATM V30s'.
