Dunno man, not a single person besides you ever said he sounds good. But straight to the point approach is good I agree.

I think they sound good. Not saying it's how I EQ my amps, but I trend toward brighter tones and he seems to also. Also helps that he's consistent across amps/cabs/pickups as it makes A/Bing between amps easier and he seems to get his hands on a lot of different ones.

Think the RT beef was before my time, but don't really give a shit to follow internet emotions.

I think i came on right as he was leaving. My friend linked me his little crybaby youtube video and it amused me. As I remember it, that was around the time Steve K passed. I had followed the forum as a source of info for gear, so when I joined, I was aware of a lot of the members already.
 
I didn’t even see the beef but his tone is always the same sounding thin bs, I believe the theory is the speakers he uses cause this but I’m not deep on my reza lore

I just know he is too full of himself, and I don’t jive with such people to put it softly 😁

To me all his demos sound the same, but then again I never honored them even with my noname chinese headphones, so I might be wrong here.

Unrelated, I want a six pack of King Jjjuliusss so bad
 
not many amp on my list right now but i will definitely get an hellion at some point in the future.
 
From both user videos so far, the gain structure sounds rough or coarse. The opposite of a fine grained Marshally upper mid brilliance.
