I actually like his videos. He doesnt do a lot of bullshitting and gets to the playing. People don't like his tone, but I think it accurately gives me an idea of what an amp will sound like in my hands. So we must have a similar style..idk

I think they sound good. Not saying it's how I EQ my amps, but I trend toward brighter tones and he seems to also. Also helps that he's consistent across amps/cabs/pickups as it makes A/Bing between amps easier and he seems to get his hands on a lot of different ones.

Think the RT beef was before my time, but don't really give a shit to follow internet emotions.

I think i came on right as he was leaving. My friend linked me his little crybaby youtube video and it amused me. As I remember it, that was around the time Steve K passed. I had followed the forum as a source of info for gear, so when I joined, I was aware of a lot of the members already.
