Guitar Center Gear Buying

I've had to show them their own website before because people working there didn't know about their own promotions.

I think they list exclusions because of MAP, but what happens in the store, happens in the store.

Makes that 7% not look so bad! After the last person I had to interact with in person from FB to make a sale, I would have paid 20% to not have to do that again.
Oh, come on. You didn't like that gas station where we traded pedals? It was almost exactly half way between us.

this is why @JackBootedThug only does his deals in Dollar Tree store parking lots .... behind the dumpsters .

I had a few things that were not moving locally on CL and FB Marketplace for months. Posted them on Sweetwater's Gear Exchange and they sold within a week. Ended up with a $500+ credit with Sweetwater. I think they charge 7% if you choose to accept the cash instead of credit. Just my experience.
I actually posted my EC1000 up on Sweetwater GE last night, I'll give it a shot for a bit, see what happens. Cant seem to give shit away lately.

I'm just glad your alternator didn't go out.
That was back when I had my Jeep. Holy shit that thing was worse! By the time I traded it in, the tail lights didn't work, the speed sensors went out when it rained and my speedometer went to zero, and the rear wiper quit working all because of a wiring harness that would cost me hundreds of dollars and days of labor to fix. I couldn't fix it with my soldering iron. I'm done with Jeeps.

They haven't made actual Jeeps since the 40s bruh. The AMCs of the late 70s and early 80s were ok, but they weren't Jeeps. And whatever they are now isn't even close.

My ex brother in law bought a brand new Grand Cherokee with the "Sport Package" in the early 90s. We took it into a mudhole and did a few doughnuts with it. After that it wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear. He took it to the dealer and they told him he voided his warranty by taking it off road.

I used to have one of those old Wagoneer panel wagons. I forget what year but it was before they switched to the body style that became the Cherokee. That thing was a beast but still not a real Jeep.

I hated GC before they got as bad as they are now......That said, in Tacoma the tech Ron who works on guitars is a good guy with loads of experience and does quality work. About the only reason to go in there IMO. He's too good for his employer.....
