Got a Bucom Boost and sending it back. Plugged it in and no sound or light. Unplugged it and then back in and suddenly worked. Sounded OK and then some intermittent drops. Just didn't make me feel confident.

Sound wise I thought it was good but turned the Boost down and sound cut off completely and was fiddling with the EQ, etc. Just didn't feel like my typical Boost experiences. I'm sure it is a good pedal but just gave me a vibe.

I have an OCD pedal coming. I've never owned one so hoping it is cool.

I have a clone I built. It is a good pedal, but different than an OD pedal. It is basically a fancy specialized EQ pedal.

I’ve had a buxom boost, and I thought it was great. A lot of these pedals just depend on the amp you’re putting them in my opinion. Sorry you had bad luck with your pedal. The OCD boost, to me is more like an SD-1 that doesn’t cut the low end.

I have the Griffin Analog Betty. I use it as a killer pre amp EQ shape and boost. Nothing at all like an OCD. I enjoyed my OCD a lot though - fun pedal, especially in 18v.

That is good to hear because I need to keep more low end. My Orange Super Crush 100 could use a bit more low.end but I like boosting it.
