Received mine today around noon, serial 004. Glad I had the day off to play. I spent about 3 hrs playing the Hagen and my blueface Vh4. My plan was to keep one of these after deciding which one I liked better. This is going to be a hard choice, may have to keep both. I think they are two totally different animals, especially ch 3 and 4. I could defiantly notice right away the voicing of the amp. Channel 2 is open and have a great mid gain feel to it. Channel 3 is pretty tight, raw, and aggressive, really digging it. Channel 4 is over the top gain and voiced different than 3. Oh, channel one is very nice, from super great cleans to some nice blues tones. I know this is brief but others will be giving their opinion and got to get back to jamming.

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like you are really enjoying it...Maybe when you take a break from jammin' away you can give us some more informed details...and a more detailed comparison of the Hagen to the VH4? THANKS!!!

As I sit here listening to Tone Monster's clips, I am having trouble keeping my jaw off the floor and the drool off the keyboard.

There hasn't been anything in an amp this promising to come out in years. A VH4 on steroids. I will save all the accolades until mine lands here in my man cave, but I will say "awesome job" again Peter(s). Man, this amp is going to surpass anything else in it's class.

Meanwhile, I am preparing for the upcoming "amp sale" because I am pretty damn sure the Hagen is going to immediately achieve favored status!

On or before August 16th, my 'baby' shows up.

Yes, took a while longer than expected... Had some unforeseen circumstances get in the way of making the direct connection with my Hagen. But alas, it's traveling across Canada right now, from our Canuck Cat Andy @ Diffusion, and it's signed by the Diezel family, blessed and adorned in a white headshell.

I'll be taking some time to really get to know this amp - no first impression emails off the bat as Reza's already honed in on that scene (thanks Buddy!!). I am VERY stoked about this new amp getting into my arsenal. It's the real deal from everyone I've spoken to. I'm a patient guy, but the wait's over...from many a quote a la Hellraiser:

TIME.....TO PLAY!!!!
