Those are both dream guitars for me, well played sir
I had one of those Vectors like you have there. I cannot remember whether it was Chinese or Indonesian but it played really nicely and had mad LP levels of sustain.Oh and I did own 4 different 'cheaper' Hamers, that I've all upgraded, but eventually sold.
The Californian Deluxe (with the V inlays) pic was taken on my old couch, and some website uses this picture without credits.
The Slammer series was one of those rare guitars where a Duncan JB was exactly right... The 2 Vectors I loaded with Super Distortions, when I was doing a 'KK' gig in a Priest tribute. The darker one was Indonesian and played better. The lighter one was a Chinese one; still decent, but in the end I sold it, since I got a great deal on a Gibson V (cream white, '67 RI with ebony FB).
Like 100% my dream super-strat!![]()
I'm still chasing the Aztec Gold Elite one...
DanTravis, that’s the same guitar that guy I mentioned was playing, except he had double creams. It was hot af.
Priced for a Kimg.Higher Octave Guitars in Shreveport LA has a natural (solid flame maple body) Cali Elite right now....think I saw 6 or 7 thousand on the hang tag though
The coffers are looking meager![]()
And my Dumble.Tell me about it man
I had to mortgage my house for Jeff's Roxy
Totally worth it btw
And my Dumble.
A good friend of mine had a nice 70's Gibson V and he wanted an Explorer but he didn't want to pay Gibson prices so in the early 2000's he picked up a Hamer Korina Explorer. He said it was as good if not better than a Gibson. He loved it.
