I used to buy most my studio gear from Vintage King. The rep I had was decent, but left the company. The new one I got was so bad, I asked for a new one and they made it seem like it was an unreasonable ask. Fuck them

He said just buy them and return them if I don’t like them. I bought about $30k of studio monitors and just kept returning them until I got a pair that I liked. I’ve bought a lot of items from that particular rep at SW, since. That rep has helped me out a lot. One thing I can say, is SW isn’t a very good place to go for limited runs or rare items, but that is out of the rep’s hands.
It’s amazing to me how customer service can be such a roll of the dice. I will pay a little more for an item if it means I get to keep dealing with the same rep in the future. Something bean counters will never consider
