Helix LT

Been GASing for a Helix since it was announced but price and features I'd never use kept me on the fence. Been using my Boss GT-1 + SY-300 direct and will continue as I learn the LT... ordered a LT this morning should be here Friday.

Anyone else?

Had an Ultra before, the Helix was more interesting to me, but the Floor had features I didn't need/want; the LT has all the processing without the routing / connection options. I got a decent discount and some extras so, it made it an even easier decision for me.

I don't think you can go wrong with Helix, AX8/FX8 or Kemper just which meets your needs best. IMO

How does the LT sound to the full Helix?

It has the full processing power of the Helix, runs the same software, they reduced the physical connections, cheaper enclosure slightly smaller and less weight, removed scribble strips, etc., but it has everything else. There's a FAQ on the Line 6 forum that lists the differences; if it's not on the list it's the same as the full Helix.

I've been very tempted to get this or the firehawk.. Don't really have a need for the amp sims, but those effects sound amazing.
