Yes it's coming. I haven't really announced anything publicly...
I am still working on it, but almost done. I will be building them soon. Essentially, I'm just getting the face plates, logo and new grill finalized.
The chassis, PCB's and head shell are all new and completely re-designed. It will have a clean channel, which is very cool. I won't divulge all the details about that one yet. But it's very useful and versatile. It's got some features no one else does.
The high gain circuit is based on the previous version but is revoiced to have more harmonic content and even more aggressive. It's a great sounding circuit and the next step in the evolution of the model. I like tight and focused amps, but I've learned to loosen this one up a bit for a greasier feel, with that richness in the gain, while still keeping the punch and attack. Implementing things I've learned over the years from modding and building. I can't even begin to explain how many hours I've put into dialing in the circuit. Sometimes to the point of pure frustration due to OCD and reaching for that last 2% that you know is in there somewhere.
I was playing the prototype last night, after making a few fine-tuning tweaks. I gave it a little volume and it was an absolute blast to play. Super punchy with great feel and dynamics. I think guys are really going to like it.
As soon as the face plates and logo are ready I'll post photos. It's going to be really good looking amp.
