Just got a new 635 Fireball 100W, which arrived yesterday afternoon. I had about 30 min to play before work (sounded and performed as expected). When I returned home early this morning, I switched from the 8 Ohm 412 to the 8 Ohm Captor X and played another 30-40 min when I saw the Poser Tube Monitor light up at V3.

I shut down, re-read the PTM section and tried the Standby Reset. Same outcome. Given the extremely short duration of use, I am hoping it was nothing more than a bad tube failing, or at least a fuse blowing that amounts to an isolated incident. There was no noticeable difference in sound/output and I did not detect any burnt smells. The tube even appears to be firing and has no visual indication other than the PTM light.

I sent an Email to ENGL and called the vendor documenting the incident. I am hopeful ENGL is quick to adopt a quick local solution. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with a new amp, certainly so within the first 24 hours.

Good luck man. Engls sound great. But your experience isn't that far from the norm

I haven’t touched the back plate yet, but a cursory forum rundown suggests a good possibility that run was possibly built with the bad tubes installed. I would not hold a faulty tube against ENGL if that’s the case… it’s just a little annoying, looking at a flashy (pun not intended) amplifier sitting in the collection that can’t be touched until getting some response from them after the weekend.
