A jammin' friend of mine @eecamichael invited me here to share some interesting news - good timing actually as I need some more user input. In fact, I'm looking for a few musician to try this out if you live in the Phoenix area. I'm specifically interested if you use a multi-effects processors (or nearly anything that has MIDI In). Someone who likes to move around on stage or play solo's in the crowd would totally get this. So far, SoulPedal® controls Fractal FM3, Kemper, Headrush, and Line 6 (at least the models I could get my hands on).

This doesn't replace your system, it compliments it by providing more options from anywhere on stage. The controls could be a duplicate of existing footswitches, or extras for a smaller footprint on stage. The FM3 comes to mind for example, but I'm currently using a Gigboard.

My favorite part will be when people realize that pressure is easier than angle control (for the pedals), but now the App lets you choose either method. People instinctively use angle as a habit I think. It's so much easier if you just bend your knees and lean into your front foot with the crowd.

John is a super cool guy, and a great player to top it off. He comes from the Intel world, and has an amazing brain and vision. I met him a number of years ago and was amazed at what the Soul Pedal does. The wah piece is amazing, but after he and I chatted about this next version at length, I came to the conclusion that this Air Pedal board is truly groundbreaking, and my mind was racing thinking about all of the possibilities of this and how I can apply it. Check out the wah link below

@Emg77 and @Duke of Metal - being that we have such similar taste in gear, you two should get together with John

Thanks Michael. Correction, average guitarist here, but you got the cool part right.
So people know, I am not using the Air Pedalboard in this video demo last year. (It has not been shown... anywhere online).
I have a funny feeling people don't grasp this yet, bc when I do show someone, they scratch their head in disbelief then it clicks and their jaw goes to the floor. Everytime. Probably saw the word "MIDI" and most ppl check out. My preference is to call it the Switcharoo Cable and make it purple. NOW it's cool.
However, this is not for everyone. I have seen enough people demonstrate to me that they have trouble doing anything while performing. But I've also seen some toe tapping that would impress Sammy Davis Jr. For those people, I did a clip to have it send 5 notes hooked into my keyboard. Wanna know the song? What would you use? 5 notes. Guess it, and I'll post it.
