Think he used a Duncan Distortion in the bridge, before EMG's.

Those two together has to be perfection. The Diezel sounds nice as well but the attack is just so round and rubbery sounding vs the others. Maybe just bring the Diezel into the mix during heavy strummed chorus type parts. With all that great stuff it seems that you will have a hard time NOT sounding great. Awesome vids, thanks!

Thanks man.
I've been running all the combos and I'm really liking the Marshall and Boogie. The VH4 is heavier sounding but not as slicey sounding. I have the bass and deep on like 2 on the VH4, I could probably even stand to drop them a hair, back off the gain and open up the top. But I do love the Marshall/Boogie combo.
For the Racto I blended 421 (vintage) / 57 and PR20
For the Marshall I blended 421 (new) / 57 and PR20
Didn't like the M160 at all really. I'm not a ribbon guy, I have owned a ton of ribbon mics, all the usual suspects and they just don't ever do it for me. I like the 57 and 421 around the same level and the pr20 brought up to taste, it seems like around 60% of the volume of the other 2 does the trick. I like the center focus the PR20 adds.
Great stuff James!!!!! Love the fact that your neighbor was outside and you had a nice little talk with her. Loving all the tones and progress!!James Lugo":1wn97r0x said:Here's bounce of the new tune, no mix at all just level bounce. Heavies are the Sunburst with the Duncon Custom with 250k pots. Absolutely killer sounding guitar now. Just what the doctor ordered:
