HELP Vh4 problem????

Is there somewhere online I can learn about the Vh4 filter caps. I do have a friend who is really knowledgeable about amps but just doesn't know the Vh4.

Hey Peter, I wrote you back and asked if there is a tech in northern california you can recommend. Maybe I got sent to your junk mail.

You mentioned that it might be a bad filter cap. Is this something I can look inside and tell? Will I void warrenty by opening it up?

Do I need to ship the amp somewhere?

Again, even an old Fender or Marshall repair man can change a filter cap.
It's most likely the one that feeds the preamp buss, but all three can be replaced in
about twenty minutes. The little one is for the preamp heaters and does not need to be changed.
