Really impressive Steve. Good luck with everything. I think the amps look great. A thick skin might come in handy to help with all the "constructive criticism". Wow. One thing I would ask is: Do you think it's redundant at all to have "Henning Amplification" on both the head-box and the chassis? Maybe "Henning Amplification" on the box and the model name on the chassis? Just a thought.

Congratulations.

You may have posted this and I missed it, but is there a ETA on clips? You had said something about a "special guest", iirc.

No doubt!  I think everyone is entitled to their opinions. Some people will like things and others won't - it's all subjective. I try to keep that perspective even though it's my baby and I think its' perfect just the way it is. :D

Yeah, I've had a couple of people point that out. Probably true. You can never do too much marketing though! Also, I do a lot of pictures with just the chassis because they look so cool with the powder coating and silk screening, so it is nice to have the company logo on the chassis...

I have to have two new boards fabricated with (I hope!) final changes, test both circuits out in my two prototypes, pick the production circuit out of the two (minor tweaks to the gain stages is the difference between the two boards) and then clips will commence. Probably a month or so before the amp is in the clip makers hands, maybe a bit more time...

Steve, how will this amp sound compared to the Cherry Bomb's Rod channel?

It can do everything the ROD channel can do, but it is more flexible because of the two gains and the dual bright switches. For sure, it can get heavier and tighter than the ROD channel if you want that, while still doing just about any era of rock/metal depending on how you set it...
