Plenty of killer splawn profiles!Seriously, I'm probably heading toward the modeling route some day soon. Especially, if we downsize. For what I'm doing, or not doing- it would probably work well for me. I don't have a lot of patience and a very low attention span so if it involves lots of tweaking I will struggle.
I get that. I would probably just hit up known, trusted, 'expert' like yourself and have them just tell me what I need. Browsing profiles sounds boring.Plenty of killer splawn profiles!
The Kemper is pretty straight forward. I don’t really tweak it at all. The rabbit hole is the sheer amount of profiles to choose from. It’s easy to spend more time browsing than playing.
Ah yes, I've spoken with Will several times. Swears by his Kemper, as do I.GTFOH![]()

I do know one dude who swears by the Kemper. He's an old Beatle head I know who is also the longtime bassist/musical director for Cyndi Lauper. We have zero in common other than love of The Beatles. You'd probably love him. I mockingly call him Walt Whitman, but he's actually a bad ass bass player and producer named Bill Wittman. Even if he is left of Che Gueverra.
That's been the mantra since the '50s Brother Dan. New tech, new research, yada yada.I’m a bit more altruistic about it. Or at least about the future of it. I think as tech advances, more and more sophisticated work can be done by more and more independent people.
Sure we have to rely on big pharma to supply it to the masses, but sooner or later, fruitful research can’t be ignored anymore

It's as I said, barking up the wrong tree. Treating symptoms as opposed to removing the causes. Removing the causes not only prevents but causes reversals too of course.

If I had one of those I would swear at it, not by it.Swears by his Kemper, as do I.
Tried fasting? I had a friend with that. Had Chrons too, or whatever that's called. She started doing 20:4 fasting right away (usually you work up to it) and now she can even eat bread, here and there. And limited pasta.I hear ya - and ROLF about the bobsled team
About 30 years ago I figured out a way to will headaches to go away. My mom and brother still suffer immensely from migrain headaches. I don't. So I don't get headaches anymore, and if I do get a slight one, it doesn't take much for me to make it go away.
I wish I could do the same thing for Celiac Disease![]()
Tinnitus is my new enemy.
It is getting worse. Was not a big deal before.
I try to keep it at bay and not think about it.
I went to a concert a few months ago and forgot my plugs.
Just started bringing some to shows to try to reduce the impact.
Pantera in Feb was not a problem though - no plugs.
My wife has it worse than I. We sleep with a fan on.
It helps mask it for her, but I think it may just be making it worse.
Which sucks because I like things blowing on me at night.
The Splawn Quick Rod is not helping![]()
With Celiac, I don't see how fasting is going to do anything but make me hungry. No thanks and no offense. It is an autoimmune disorder. My body rejects gluten. There are lots of people who preach and do exactly what you are saying, its just not going to be for me. I also know people who swear by a diet of nothing but meat, eggs, fish, etc - like JBT was saying.Tried fasting? I had a friend with that. Had Chrons too, or whatever that's called. Pasta and bread are no no's for me. I fall asleep if I eat that shit.
Yup, he's no fool.No foolin. Small world. I've been arguing politics with him since about 2006. He gives as good as he takes and is a solid dude though.
See that's the issue with modern medicine. They have you brainwashed into thinking there's no cure. Not getting on your case personally, but this is what the HMO wants.yeah, the best thing that has happened to me since getting serious about my Celiac Disease is not eating fast food and boxed or frozen food. I still like my frozen veggies, frozen french fries and an occational frozen gluten free pizza (but those pizzas largely suck).

PS: When we are traveling or go to a new restaurant and I ask if they have a Gluten Free menu/options and I get a blank stare, I turn around and leave. Or, if they have to ask the manager or ask me: "Is that like cheese and dairy?" Point being, the places that care and are safe (for me), train their staff accordingly. When we were in NYC last year we found an Italian Restaurant that was 100% gluten free. You'd never know. Usually, noodles and pasta a big no no. And Gluten Free pasta is rice based so it doesn't hold together well. This place was frickin dynomite.
I love my junk food. I recently started eating these at night and they actually taste good. I'm sure there's something else toxic in them.yeah, the best thing that has happened to me since getting serious about my Celiac Disease is not eating fast food and boxed or frozen food. I thought those were supposed to be "Famous" Tate's, not just "Tates".I love my junk food. I recently started eating these at night and they actually taste good. I'm sure there's something else toxic in them.
