Hetfield's MKIIC++ now in the Axe-Fx II

Cliff modeled Hetfield's MKIIC++ It's now in the AFX2 as the Metallica USA IIC++ amp model.....It will be in the AX8 shortly when it gets a firmware update.

Here's an example by Mikko & you can hear it in the mix at 1:20

Just amp & cab + the actual Mesa EQ built into the AxeFX

That is a very very good point LOL I skipped straight to the 1:20 mark because that's where I thought this model kicked in..

Just an FYI, his crunch berries 2C++ currently has a Mark IV power transformer. It blew the orig Nap one a long time ago. Just passing along what I was told.

Just like on the original recording the guitars sound better in the mix than they do isolated......

The tone in the first vid was dialed in by Mikko to sound good in the mix. Mission accomplished

I've heard tube amp clips on here that sound like a j-station......what's the point?

Take any of the isolated guitar tracks from any holy grail recorded tube amp tone from a song & it sounds "totally processed dude"
