Try a Duncan '59 and see if you feel like it's in the ballpark. I loved the Duncan '59 when I had one in my Warmoth and have just kind of forgotten about them. The Mojave ones are impossible to get and cost $180 which is way too much. And the '78 isn't really a true PAF. You can try a DiMarzio PAF also.

Yeah the '59 was my first choice. Shit, I can't even find the website for Mojave. Is it the amp? Oh fuck it, I'm not even gonna bother with that.

There's some good Dimarzio vintage pickups... that came out the last couple years. I may give them a shot.

Trust me - you're not getting one of those Mojave pickups unless you get it used. I do like mine though...

Yup, I had one. Great low DC resistance pickup. I like these for the PAF type tone in the bridge, in this order:

1.) Mojave Pickup
2.) Tom Holmes 455
3.) Duncan Custom Shop '78
4.) Voodoo '59
5.) Duncan Antiquities
6.) Duncan '59
