For that matter, one wonders why manmade CO2 would not rather cool the earth, given its absorbant properties of infared light.
Please tell us how YOU came to those conclusions.Well it’s too bad you feel that way. The things I have said are in fact proven to be true.
And since you are the way you are, yes water vapor shared some of the same wavelengths as co2, but as previously stated, it’s not only co2 contributing to warming, however co2 is the one we have the availability to cut back on.
I didn't come to those conclusions. i've stated that, over and over and OVER again. These aren't my opinions. they are the findings of the scientific community as a whole and what I was taught in school and my own reading for pleasure. Please tell us how YOU came to those conclusions.
I may play an idiot on the internet, but I can assure you that I'm not one.
Let's start with a recent and simple post;
Don't you do HVAC?
"Fact"
"There is"
"Proven"
"From what I have read"
"I've never seen"
"I've seen"
"We"
You tend to say a lot without actually ever saying anything.
Sometimes the things you're saying leave out important details.
Like all of them.
It's how I'm aware that you aren't aware of what you're talking about.
Even if you think that other people are.
probably not man. co2 "traps" heat. it keeps it in. it doesn't deflect it. it holds it and spreads it out. i never said that co2 was the main reason for warming. i've actually said the exact opposite. They are arguing that the relationships of these elements to the average earth temps are more complex than the simplistic idea that more CO2 "holds in" reflected heat or that this CO2 even comes from human activity.
“CO2 does not cause global warming. Global warming causes more CO2,” said Edwin Berry, a theoretical physicist and certified consulting meteorologist. He called Royal Society’s position on CO2 “pure junk science.”
What are you even trying to say? What are you responding to?probably not man. co2 "traps" heat. it keeps it in. it doesn't deflect it. it holds it and spreads it out. i never said that co2 was the main reason for warming. i've actually said the exact opposite.

Well, actually the sun spectrum is centered on visible and near infrared, which is "reflected" back from the earth as infrared. The CO2 would absorb and reemit the same amount from either direction. So then you'd need to figure out what portion of the earth's heat comes from what parts of the sun spectrum to determine the net effect. You said that co2 should cool the planet. It shouldn’t
If it's not the main reason what in your view is?i never said that co2 was the main reason for warming. i've actually said the exact opposite.
personally I think it's just us on our way out of an ice age. all the pollution certainly expedites it, but there would be somewhat of a warming trend without itIf it's not the main reason what in your view is?
Well I think you just answered the question yourself.Well, actually the sun spectrum is centered on visible and near infrared, which is "reflected" back from the earth as infrared. So then you'd need to figure out what portion of the earth's heat comes from what parts of the sun spectrum to determine the net effect.
So where’s the video feed?"I know this was a nail-biter, but we are on the surface, and we are transmitting," Intuitive Machines CEO Steve Altemus just announced on the webcast. "Welcome to the moon."
The exact state of the lander is not yet clear. But the company has confirmed it has made contact.“

I dunno. They are still getting communications set up as far as I knowSo where’s the video feed?

Yeah, that would be great. They sent up a camera that was supposed to separate from the lander to take pictures of the landing. It was be sweet if that worked out.
