this thread still going? It reminds me of a disagreement I had with another father at a ball game. He was unhappy with me over something that I supposedly said. Which I did not btw. Instead of denying the allegations or defending myself I just said "You got my number....you know where I live. I'm easy to get ahold of if you ever want to talk about this in private." I'm still waiting on him to reach out. Lots of talking going on....lol....

I had a similar situation but the guy got too emotional every time I tried to work it out, which was at least a couple times. Finally my other buddy was like, "Dude, just pretend he's a girl and say you're sorry, you were wrong, etc." I tried to text but by then he had blocked me

I was looking for a place that wasn't the gay page to hang out and BS about guitars and politics. I'm not a communis, fag, or pervert so that makes me persona non grata at most guitar forums. I don't do other social media so I checked into here last summer and saw how warped the OT was and decided not to join at that time. I got doxxed playing in a toilet like that as a mod at a political forum once and don't care to repeat the process. When I saw it had been cleaned up, I created an account.
Actually a dude named "Zackman" or "Zachman" told me about this place in like the mid or late 2000's when I was busting his chops on HC or gay page, don't remember which. Anyways, that's when I first heard about rig talk. I'm not a metal guy so there isn't a lot of stuff here I can be helpful with but the mods are killer here and I appreciate the open discussions without censorship so I'm staying so kiss my ass @Arch Stanton

What?!?! You're letting me down my man. I think space is bullshit as you know but man I love the nighttime skies out here. The moon is nice you just can't walk on it! Always puts a nice touch on my evening after a gig to burn one and enjoy the view out here. Best of both worlds. City life capped off with some starry skies where I can enjoy the sound of my ears ringing in the peace and quiet.

The moon is important now because it will be utilized as a step to more exciting things. But generally it’s boring because it’s cut and dry. We’ve been there, it has a satellite keeping an eye on it, it’s well documented. I guess the tech is interesting because landing and functioning on the moon is extremely difficult, but then again, after the excitement goes away, this CLPS program is about making moon travel as cheap and efficient as possible, which is just business as usual.
Something like JWST gets into the theoretical and newly explored areas. It’s making so many people rethink standard operating procedures. I think that’s awesome and interesting.
….but if the moon stuff is seen as up on the air here and not cut and dry, then well JWST and others don’t stand a chance lol

I hope this was directed at someone else even though you replied to me because I will never be a true believer in anything "space" other than maybe the cubic measurements of the inside of a guitar cab or building some shelves and storage in my cabin, lol
