I gig. As much as I would love for my amps and cabs to stay mint, it's impossible.
I've never been one to complain about a dent or ding when I buy used gear, because it's not for show for me, but how it sounds and plays. But I completely understand wanting to sell something for MINT. I don't mind playing something with scuffs. But do people only care about mint for resale value or is it more just that it has to be a 'perfectly beautiful' finish or top?
My 2x12 sounds great, i love it, but it's starting to show gig-wear after one year of gigging on average once a month, but sometimes 3 times in a month.
Curious how you guys handle the trade off.
