I mean not much into hockey.....


But my little brother is and he goes to the games a lot and got me a bit interested especially as the hometown team is defying many of the "experts" expectations and everyones expectations this season...... A bunch of hot Rookies apparently.


Haven't paid attention to it too much over the years and have gone to some games as a kid..... I think I was 8 years old last time I went or 10.....


But yeah it seems the Anaheim Ducks aren't too bad this season..... And looking at some games there is a lot of action and it's pretty interesting and fun to watch too

Crazy they went for Carlson too. I think they're gonna lack playoff experience to make a deep run in the West but they've been good.

Have to say don't know too much about Hockey but given their position it seemed like the appropriate move.

It's the most intense team sport. I played a lotta hockey where I grew up but as I was telling one of our beloved progressive friends on the board, you have to be socio or psychopathic to some degree to be really great at it. Many of the best players come from places where the only thing to do for 9 months of the year is play hockey, drink, or fight, and your local hockey league often includes at least two of those things, lol.

In some way I've kinda grown a distaste for watching dudes make dirty hits and skate away knowing they could've just ended someone's career but at the same time, kinda like there is only one thief in the military, there is only one cheap shot in hockey, and everyone else is just getting revenge for it. I think you'll enjoy it Daniel, as it is not a sport for pink pussy hat wearers. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the game.
